Mercedes Benz SCL600
63Mercedes Benz SCL600
new Mercedes-Benz SCL600" automobile — including technical innovations such as a joystick in place of a steering wheel, a video monitor in place of a rear-view mirror, and swiveling gull-wing doors are difficult to classify as "true" or "false." They are genuine photographs of a real car, but that car was constructed as a research vehicle, not as something to be made available for purchase by consumers (although some of its features may have been, or soon may be, incorporated into commercially-available models), and it isn't really "new" (in a technological sense), as it was introduced over ten years ago.

I think it is cool. The younger generation should have no problem with it. It's the style of the future. But, the 40 year olds shouldn't have a problem with it because they grew up with pac-man {ha ha}.

Concept Car 3 years ago
Yeah it's an Mercedes-Benz F200 Imagination Concept presented in Paris 1996.
Actually Mercedes made another concept car based on the last generation of SL that was steered with two joysticks . But i guess this idea was thrown away as it would be rather difficult to get used to joysticks instead of a steering wheel.
But i may have been useful for the development of drive-by-wire and it had many other features that we know from the production cars nowerdays.
